I realize it's been a long time since we updated (about a month) so I apologize for that.
I can't provide any more detailed information regarding aRO's current situation. I know it has been an extremely long time (months!) but my hand is somewhat forced right now. Please try to understand.
What I did want to cover though, was that sites are being posted with some extremely outrageous claims. I would like to quell all rumors that I was arrested by the party van or abducted by aliens or that I owe someone or another some outrageous sum of money.
I encourage you to take any rumors such as these that you may hear with a grain of salt. If I don't post any official word, chances are that whatever you heard is completely false.

even so we know that wont be cause u are there i have noticed like GMs are around niff now and that was really needed.
Maybe just making some more events so ppl gets happy u know maybe like spawning some monsters at some towns for fun :P that would be nice /ho

Of course those sites are fake. I plan to stay with aRO until Harken deletes it from his computer (of course, if he ever were to do that, I'd have to fly out and beat him to death with a bat!).

Umm could u post something useful? like any info on site reopening date or anything. THe prices for mvp cards are insane, scamming is at an all time high, people loot all the time, and people set up chats anywhere. Im sick of it. i dont wanna hear about propaganda, i wanna hear about the status of the site

Sites like the ones out there now have been around for a long time...they're nothing new, and deffinately not to be believed.
Most of the rumor sites were started by players who were banned from Anima or have some personal vendetta against one of the GM's.
It's a good idea to get a forum up and running again, even if it's only temperary til the site comes back up. Ill just wait patiently...take my screen-shots of the botters and looters...and continue to play AnimaRO every day.

Sup. Just remember that you have 500 members who are still standing behind you guys.. thats 500 REAL PEOPLE not just players in a game. let us know whats going on. There is a post in the "FORUMS" that was saying that the forums wasn't GM endorsed, yet you did direct people towards it. The Forum owner now quit aRO because he didn't feel any justice was being given to the member community.. I'd like to believe that you guys are hard at work since GM Harken or someone using GM Harken's account did sign on a few days ago and did an event. Or so I was told... It's not about the game itself, more about the hard work we players put into it... To the players: Great job guys for sticking with it.. I know it would be so easy to switch to another server like others have. But, the fact of the matter is, we're here because 1)we love the member base, and friends we've made 2)we put alot of hardwork into wat we've done in aRO & 3)we have FAITH that the "GMs" are not going to just brush our hard work off to the side.. because they put alot of work into the server too
To the GMs: I know hard times come around IRL that you can't explain to people like us cause we're basically ur consumers. But, at least let us know if we should just pack our bags and leave to another server. None of us really want to.. If you really cared, and it's a hopeless situation for you, and you already know the outcome... Then just let someone else takeover responsibility. The players who put time and effort into the game will really appreciate it..

Thanks for updating. However I don't play right now because as some have said, botters are out of control. I can't go to niff because I get looted constantly and there is no way to stop them. MVP card prices are way too high and the economy is going down. I can't buy anything with ads or search the forums and people whom I usually play with aren't on as well because of this.
I don't believe others propaganda. If they have a problem, they can just leave the server and stop spreading rumors.
I hope all gets better for you and the website isn't down for much longer and things start running smoothly again.
its sad to see one of the top RO private servers drop down to the level of 'just another server' only because its sites down.....this is the perfect example of how fast a server can be ruined by such a small problem.

While I realize the world does not revolve around IRC, that could be a way to keep some heads up on what's happening aside from the blogger. The GMs are on from time to time and there is also a very supportive player base (when not afk).

And if the web-server being down for a almost 2 months didn't teach you patience, you might need to learn it as even when the GMs are on IRC, they have lives, too. Just as long as you're not asking them questions like when the website will be up again.
Heres the thing. I know that it puts a lot of pressure and responsibility on GMs when people continuously complain, but the truth is, the longer the site is down the more people will leave the server. Comment all you want on my post being impatient but you know you want the site back up as much as I do. The main problem driving everyone (your supporters) away from the server is the fact that nothing can be done about those who don't play fair. Not being able to directly download from the site or the fact that it can't be patched isn't why the population is going down. But every time a scammer succeeds in scamming a valuable item; or every time a botter loots away hundreds of thousands of zeny away another player leaves. So I suggest you at least get the support ticket system back up in some way or another to fix up these hackers and maintain the population before the few scammers who gets rich and even gets bored of scamming leaves. Then you would have to start all over again from scratch and many people will be dissapointed of loosing their hard earned accounts.

This has made a few people who have stuck around so far start to look a bit nervous - please let us know asap to help stem the tide of users leaving.
I know you guys are busy, but can there at least be a small free site or new e-mail address just so we can send in support tickets and screenshots and get responses by e-mail? Just until the official site comes back.
I have screens of a pervert trying to do very naughty things with me and nowhere to send it >.< I've had these screenshots for probably months now, too. Despite asking my age first, it was still very disgusting and there needs to be something done cause God knows how many other people he's propositioned by now.
Plus as someone said before: scamming, bots upon bots (including bots with polymorphic clip in pyramids *cough* Dark Zealot *cough*), economy downfall, rule-breaking in every possible place, etc etc.
ok I know you're busy w/ life and trying to fix Anima but could you please do something about these rule breakers. People are vending and or having chat rooms on the streets of Prontera. They've also decided it was ok to have a chat or shop right next to the NPCs. Just thought you should maybe reinforce these, or tell them the rules again.
I actually had wanted to join your server but cannot get to any of the downloads anymore because the site is down. When the site comes back up I would like to be able to download the files and join the server. Thanks. :)
